DCCS'
Strategy
The
Systems Approach has been adopted as a corporate strategy. It is
applied to every aspect of DCCS's corporate operations from project
performance to project administration. This Systems Approach is
highly effective when applied during the planning and performance
phases of a project, where it provides a relevant basis for subsequent
review of a completed project.
The
overall goal of DCCS is to provide high quality products and services
at a competitive price, delivered on time, and within the allocated
budget. This goal is identified and pursued at all organizational
levels.
Each
project is viewed within the context of its implications and interfaces.
All efforts necessary to complete the project are analyzed to determine
how it relates to any previous, ongoing, or future efforts. Often
times, an effort may be slightly restructured or expanded to yield
additional or more useful results.
Each
project's requirements for success are determined on the basis of
proper performance and desired objectives.
In
addition to the basic core efforts required, each project is subject
to cost benefit analysis in an attempt to cut cost when economics
temper all other considerations. Similarly, the intended results
are analyzed to anticipate any known or probable constraints, changes
in requirements, and overall implications, which may adversely effect
the completed results.
