- DCCS develops
unique document management systems that consists of extensive
internal edit and verification modules, which evaluates predetermined
responses and determine the completeness and consistency of form
documents without operator intervention.
- DCCS processes
document through an Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) system.
The system uses Bell & Howell high-speed scanners and an ICR engine.
This system has been proven to be very effective in controlling
labor costs by reducing manual data entry.
- Successful
document processing element of system is predicated upon DCCS
ability to reference, locate and track millions of processed pieces
of paper each year. Unique bar code references the specific paper
document to a electronic record. During the scanning and ICR processes,
a unique Document Control Number (DCN) is automatically assigned
to the document. When the images are loaded to the database, the
DCN and the bar code information are linked and stored in the
system's database record (also see database design and implementation).
- DCCS value
proven systems consists of a series of applications built on a
client/server platform (see client/server) with two core subsystems
- Document processing and Information processing - which perform
bar coding, ICR, index verification, and development.DCCS forms
recognition and forms drop-out technologies has been proven to
deliver optimum results.
- DCCS employ
Bell & Howell's high-speed scanning equipment to recognize, control,
and automatically acknowledge receipt of documents.
